Taking advantage of the plastic molding with a trim removal tool windshield. Wedge teeth of the tool within the setting and pry on it.
Urethane molding cut around the outside of the glass with a knife cutting the car.
Exit the windshield.
Clean the windshield frame where the new Taurus can. Be sure to remove the old residual urethane molding and reduce to 3 mm with a razor.
Slide the new rubber seal around the outer edge of the cup on the new windshield and fit into the slots on the outer shell of the rubber profile.
Apply a generous amount of urethane primer for fried strip on the windshield. The band is the fried black band running around the outside of the windscreen.
Apply a coat of urethane to the recess in the frame in which it will mount on the windshield.
Align the windshield in the box and press the windshield in place. Allow the urethane to cure for 12 hours.
