If the window of your car looks off track or is stuck in the door and cannot roll up, you could have a bad controller. The regulator is a component of the door containing the window in place and raises and lowers the glass in the direction of the feed motor. To replace a controller, you will need some basic tools that you can buy at a auto parts store. It should take about an hour to replace regulator of an automatic window.
